This project involved a full removal of the old tiled fireplace, back panel, and hearth β€” all taken out carefully to protect the room.

What We Did:

β€’ Removed the existing fireplace, back panel & hearth
β€’ Prepared and made good the fire opening for a modern installation
β€’ Fitted a brand new polished black granite hearth
β€’ Installed a new black back panel
β€’ Added a fresh, elegant fireplace surround to complete the look
β€’ Fitted a Hota 5kW stove, perfectly sized for the space

Chimney Restoration & Leak Repair β€” Before & After πŸ”§

This customer contacted us after noticing water coming into the house.
On inspection, we found:
β€’ Cracked and failing chimney crown
β€’ Damaged lead flashing
β€’ Poor flaunching around the pot allowing water to pe*****te

To fix it properly, we:
βœ… Removed the damaged chimney crown and rebuilt the top section
βœ… Installed a new capping slab with drip edge
βœ… Fitted a new pot with a rain and bird guard
βœ… Fully re-plastered the chimney stack for a clean, watertight finish
βœ… Re-did all lead flashing to seal against further leaks

Now the leak is fully resolved, and the chimney looks as good as new β€” protected and ready for years to come.
