Beautiful Winters Day for some garden work.

The first project finished this year.
Our client had alway wanted somewhere to grow a small amount of veg, salad & herbs.
This overgrown corner in the garden being very sheltered was the ideal area for growing so we set about cutting into the bank, building raised planters with block & cladding with timber.
We even managed to make space for 4 dwarf Apple trees.

Our recently finished courtyard garden. This is a large rectangular shape in the centre of the house with four large windows facing onto the space, the clients felt it was very angular & uninviting.
We got to work building raised planters using the same dark porcelain paving used on the ground, made two huge granite benchs from pink/orange granite slabs & filled the beds with a mixture lush broad leafy & soft grassy planting.
All of which creates a green calm tranquil space to look out on or sit out & relax, we even managed to get a little water feature in!

One very wet late summer project.
Not ideal conditions for moving 45tons of subsoil, building retaining walls & paving but amazing to see how the planting has responded this summer to all the rain & warm soils.
Sometimes it only takes a little blast of sunshine to get it through.

We loved working on this patio garden
Designed around the home owners large patio table it has the shapes, stone work, planting & so good at night.

We are delighted with the results of a recently completed local back garden.
Kilsaran reconstituted granite paving, white plastered raised beds capped with Egyptian limestone capping specially cut to size & over flowing with colourful & textured planting.
Love the contrast between the hard pale materials & the soft billowy planting.
