Due to continued expansion, SJE is currently recruiting for an Electricians and 3rd and 4th year apprentices based in the Navan/kells region. This is a full time and permanent position and is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a well-established company.
The Role:
Reporting to Senior Management this individual will be required to work on their own initiative visiting a new site every day.
The role will primarily involve testing and inspection of existing electrical installations General electrical works , emergency lighting testing, pat testing
The candidate must have the ability to carry out visual inspections of electrical installations and complete full Periodic Inspections including all testing and reporting as required.
The role also involves routine electrical maintenance, and testing of emergency lights and general electrical works and some pat testing
Fault finding and problem resolution in general.Fuse board upgrades
Where required some minor electrical installation works will be required
Completion of daily reports and Health & Safety forms as required for day to day works on sites.
All reporting from site Periodic Inspections will be uploaded to a Cloud based system, so the candidate must be competent with such technology. Training will be provided.
The ideal Candidate will have:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience
Experience in Electrical Testing .
Full clear driving license.
Safe Pass & Manual Handling have to be up to date.
20 days annual leave per annum
