A project we’ve been working on for over the past few weeks: restoring the sash windows in the Adoration Convent in Wexford town. The first of the fully restored second-floor sashes arrived back on site this week and are now being installed.

A job we completed recently in waterford city. New doors fitted into restored existing frames.

The back door had a openable fan light which we were able to restore along with the frame and upgrade with a 12mm double glazed unit from single glazing to keep with the new 8 pane double glazed hardwood door underneath.

The front door was a new hardwood 6 panel door fitted in to existing frame with added draught proofing and new ironmongery.

We used for the new doors which were supplied primed and ready for installation.

A restoration job we recently done on a sunroom in waterford. Rotten timbers were replaced with hardwood. Some splicing repairs, reglazing and additional capping mouldings to prevent standing water over the door which was the main cause of the deterioration.

Gutters to be installed soon with some other works still on going at the house.

We started removing sash windows from the old bank of Ireland building in Lismore yesterday with . A lot of the windows had metal security grids installed on the interior side around the building, they were fun to take off! Some of them weighing 80/100kg. 31 windows in total

Over the next few days we will be removing sashes, stripping back old paint and then making a detailed survey on the windows for timber repair/ replacement parts and profile sections to match existing.
