π·ββοΈπ·ββοΈ Welcoming Our Student Engineers to Arkil this Summer! π·ββοΈπ·ββοΈ
Weβre delighted to welcome three talented Student Engineers to our team for the summer: Jessica McGlynn, Edward OβMeara, and Kate Donoghue.
Each of them is currently studying Civil Engineering and will return to college in September, but for the summer they are gaining valuable hands-on experience across a variety of live projects and site operations.
π§ Jessica McGlynn is working on the Downeyβs Roundabout project, where she is developing her understanding of site operations and the day-to-day realities of civil engineering projects.
π§ Edward OβMeara is gaining experience in road marking works, site observation, and supporting key project documentation, including SSWPs and risk assessments.
π§ Kate Donoghue is based in Crosshaven, working across road resurfacing projects, assisting with tarmac laying, and learning the practical aspects of site operations.
A few fun facts about our students:
π
Jessica has earned a Bronze Gaisce Award, demonstrating her commitment, determination, and willingness to take on new challenges.
πΆ Jessica is also the proud owner of three dogs, giving her plenty of opportunities to practise her project management skills outside of work!
πͺ Edward and Kate both enjoy spending time in the gym, making them just as comfortable lifting weights as they are lifting traffic cones!
We are delighted to have Jessica, Edward, and Kate on the team this summer and look forward to supporting them as they gain valuable experience and develop their engineering skills.
