Irish Wedding Celebrant I am an Independent Wedding Celebrant based in the North West of Ireland My name is Ita Conroy and I am the founder of Irish Wedding Celebrant.

I started the service in 2012 to reflect and meet the changing need of people for alternative ceremonies. At the very core of marriage is a promise and commitment to each other that inspires a coming together of hearts in a ceremony with just you in mind. I design and deliver unique ceremonies to meet individual requirements reflecting the changing landscape of ceremony in Ireland. I love to help

couples from the beginning of their excitement, to create a ceremony which will seal their union in tune with their own individual style. As an independent celebrant unaffiliated to any religion, the ceremony can contain religious, non-religious, traditional or simply your own loving content.

Tribute to French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, who was born in 1900.

Author of works like ‘Night Flight’, ‘Wind, Sand and Stars’, and ‘Man and his World’, Saint-Exupéry is mostly known for his classic novella ‘The Little Prince’.

Drawing on his own experiences as an aviator, the book begins with a pilot being marooned in the desert where he meets a young prince from a tiny asteroid. There, the prince spends most of his time cleaning volcanoes and pulling out baobab trees.

'The Little Prince' is far more than just a book for kids. It is a philosophical tale that includes social criticism and highlights the strangeness of the adult world by exploring the themes of love, loneliness and purpose through captivating, lovable characters.

The huge success of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s work is proof of the power of his legacy, reminding us of our shared humanity.
