Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Working Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site teams, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The work is in the Building and Utilities sector.
Key Responsibilities:
๐ข Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities
๐ข Manage site operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers
๐ข Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
๐ข Liaise with clients, engineers, and senior management regarding project progress
๐ข Oversee quality control and ensure work is carried out to specification
๐ข Prepare and maintain site records, reports, and schedules
๐ข Monitor costs and assist in ensuring projects remain within budget
๐ข Motivate and lead site teams to achieve project milestones
Essential Requirements:
๐ข Proven experience as a Foreman, Site Manager, or Project Manager in construction
๐ข Strong leadership and communication skills
๐ข Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
๐ข Solid understanding of health & safety requirements
๐ข Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
๐ข Full driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across NI & ROI
๐ข Safepass and relevant site management qualifications desirable
