Thank you all for the wonderful support during my Tech Amergin Arts & Education Centre exhibition.It was lovely to get so much feedback and allow people to see South Kerry through my lens. Thrilled to share that I will be exhibiting in Tech Amergin next month from June 4th - July 7th. The selection on show will include "The Fairy Skelligs" collection along with other local scenes as seen through my lens. Estimated to be about 4000 years old these intriguing wooden roots are all that survive of the prehistoric pine & oak forests that covered the area before it was cleared for early agricultural practices. It is possibly only a matter of time before the tidal sands cover them again but for now they are another stunning feature of the landscape here.

Some more pictures of the "Fairy Castles" at Reenroe beach. Estimated to be about 4000years old these intriguing wooden roots are all that survive of the prehistoric pine & oak forests that covered the area before it was cleared for early agricultural practices. It is possibly only a matter of time before the tidal sands cover them again but for now they are another stunning feature of the landscape here.
