As our three summer interns get ready to head back to college this week, it’s a great opportunity to reflect on why we value our summer internship programme so much.

We want our interns to get more than just a few months of work experience. It’s about giving them the opportunity to get involved, learn from the team, take on real responsibility and get a genuine feel for what it’s like to work in our industry.

This summer, Jamie, Aoife and Lukas have all brought plenty of enthusiasm, fresh ideas and a willingness to get stuck in, and they’ve been a brilliant addition to the team.

We’re proud to play a small part in helping them build their experience and confidence as they continue their studies and careers — and we’re looking forward to seeing where their journeys take them.

A huge thank you to all three for everything they’ve contributed this summer. It’s been great having you as part of the team, and we wish you all the very best for the year ahead!

🏡 BET Building Envelope Technologies was delighted to attend the K & K Windows Ltd Better Homes Grant Information Event at the Amber Springs Hotel.

The event brought together homeowners and industry professionals to learn more about the Better Homes Grant process and the steps involved in creating warmer, healthier, and more energy-efficient homes.

A highlight of the day was seeing our Managing Director, Tommy Morris, join the panel of expert speakers to discuss the importance of building performance testing throughout the retrofit journey.

Tommy shared how airtightness testing, ventilation assessments, and quality assurance help ensure retrofit projects achieve the highest standards of comfort, energy efficiency, and compliance.

It was a fantastic opportunity to meet so many homeowners, answer questions about the retrofit process, and explain how BET supports successful home energy upgrades through independent building performance testing.

A sincere thank you to K & K Windows Ltd for hosting such a well-organised and informative event, and to everyone who took the time to visit Niamh Dillon, Shane Halpin and Fred at the Building Envelope Technologies stand. We look forward to continuing to support homeowners on their journey towards more energy-efficient homes.

A fantastic day at the K & K Windows Ltd Better Homes Grant Information Event in the Amber Springs Hotel.

Tommy, Niamh, Shane and Fred from Building Envelope Technologies were delighted to be there, with Tommy joining the panel of expert speakers to share insights on home energy upgrades and the retrofit process.

Following the successful renewal of our INAB ISO 17025 Accreditation and extension of scope, we are pleased to introduce the first of our newly accredited testing services.

Drop Down Grab Rail Testing

Our accredited testing service is carried out in accordance with:
• BS 8300:2009 – Design of buildings and their approaches to meet the needs of disabled people – Code of practice
• The Good Loo Design Guide

This service supports manufacturers, suppliers and the construction industry by providing independent testing to demonstrate the performance and reliability of drop down grab rails used in accessible environments.

At BET, we remain committed to delivering accurate, reliable and technically competent testing services that support quality, safety and confidence in the built environment.

accredited testing services will be shared over the coming days.

As Ireland's leading airtightness, building performance and compliance specialists, we work on some of the country's most exciting construction projects, and we're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys hands-on work and is ready to build a rewarding career with us.

What you'll get:

What we're looking for:
Full driving licence
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Construction experience is desirable
