Hi folks. As we enter this Easter weekend we want to wish all our customers a happy Easter and stay safe in this current pandemic.
I just want to clarify that over the last few days we’ve been receiving calls to attend various problems in certain holiday homes .
We will NOT be attending to any such calls as we consider these non essential calls due to not being permanent residence.We will continue to offer a call out service to any local people that need our services as people in their permanent residence are classified as essential .Well done to people adhering to the restrictions. Stay safe and have a good weekend

Well done Gorey Gardaí

Last night (15.3.2020) Gardai in Gorey responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a business premises on the outskirts of the town. Gardai located a vehicle connected with the incident which was stopped close to Arklow after the driver tried to intentionally crash into the responding patrol car. Four males were arrested and are currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. We would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.

Beware folks

We have received reports of incidents of "Quick Change Scams" across the County. These happen when a “customer” pays for a small item with a large note, then confuses the cashier by claiming they actually have the correct amount. The cashier then gives their large note back, plus any change they would have expected from the large note.

It can work in many ways, but usually involves “customers” trying to swap notes for other notes or coins, then back again. It may also occur when “customers” ask for change, only to cancel the transaction pocketing any money they have been given in the process.

Please be aware of these tactics and report anything suspicious to Gardaí
