Some interesting news emerging today from the Irish Times

Potential Grant available from March for retrofit windows. I'm never a fan of grants as they tend to be swallowed up by the market in some form of other.

The grant amounts are pretty small considering the real cost of replacing windows. But it will go a long way to ensuring a good replacement protocol including airtightness
