SURYA STEEL | Where Function Hides in Plain Sight
What if a 2000 sq. ft. office interior could fit more function without ever feeling crowded?
For us, the answer was to make function disappear into the architecture.
The central workspace becomes the organisational spine, connecting workstations, cabins, pantry, toilets and server room through textured grey walls, bold black flooring and an exposed ceiling. Full height storage disappears into the wall finish, while concealed doors keep the service zones visually uninterrupted.
The material language follows SURYA STEEL’s identity: mild steel, perforated metal, glass brick and a recurring royal blue I section girder, not as decoration, but as architecture.
And then comes the deception.
Glass brick becomes a light filter, an illuminated element and an apparent structural support. Beneath the workstations, it makes the desks appear to float. In the director’s cabin, it appears to carry the desk. It doesn’t.
Across this office interior design, every requirement gets another purpose: a server cabinet becomes architecture, a technical tray becomes a shutter, residual space becomes a lunch area, and a timeline becomes employee storage.
Because commercial interior design isn't about adding more.
It is about making every decision work harder.
Raw. Refined. Industrial. Designed to make you look twice.
