In the present competitive market CAE has evolved as a hand in tool to reduce the product development period and also proved as a cost cutting approach by reducing number of physical prototypes for testing with its simulation capabilities. CAE or Computer Aided Engineering, refers to the construction and analysis of objects using virtual methods. CAE includes activities of design, planning, construction, analysis and production planning preparation, all within a computer-generated environment which helps to reduces the product development time along with cost cutting.
