Greetings on International Tiger Day!!

Tiger is one of the most charismatic and magnificient creature to have walked this planet. Sadly they are endangered due to habitat loss, fragmentation and shrinking of forests and poaching for illegal trade. Today, India has only around 3000+ tigers and is home to 60% of the total wild tiger population in the world.

Tigers are an indicator of healthy forest. Protecting the tiger ensures the protection of its entire habitat which in turn, ensures our air, food and water security.

It is often said that if the Tiger goes, we go!

Tulsi, Ocimum sanctum, is an aromatic shrub which is revered as holy in India for thousands of years. In Ayurveda, the use of Tulsi has been explained in several ways against various ailments and as a general health booster.

Today is Ashadhi Ekadashi, an auspicious day for the devotees of Shri Vitthal, an incarnation of Shri Vishnu. The Lord is said to be estremely fond of Tulsi and the shrub has great importance while worshiping the lord in his various Avatars.

Our sages were extremely knowledgeable and wise. The roots of conservation of nature can be seen in their scriptures. Associating each deity with some flora or fauna ensured its conservation. That way, it was easily understood and accepted by general public too. They recommened to have a Tulsi plant in front of every home for the simple reason that the shrub being aromatic repelled insects. The phytochemicals like eugenol and oleanolic acid have medicinal properties, Having tulsi leaves in tea have calming effect and works to reduce stress and anxiety.

It is essential to have a Tulsi plant at home for our own benefit. Please plant one if you dont have it yet. Remember, a well drained soil and good sunlight are essential for good health of the Tulsi plant.

We recently completed a residential project in Mumbai. Client requirement was understood during the site visit. Few options were digitally presented for better visualization. Further refinement was done based on the choice of the client and project was executed. Regular follow-up is being done thereafter to monitor the health of the plants. Corrective measures are suggested, in case of any issues.
