India's first electric train completes 97 years. It was on 3 Feb, 1925 that the first EMU service with four-cars was introduced from the then Bombay VT (now Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai) and Coorla (now Kurla) via harbour line.
