Checklist for buying a real estate
Here’s a list that you must check before you buy any property.
1 Approval and Licenses: Check for builders paperwork, if it is genuine or not. Make sure that the layout has been approved by the development corporation and the local body of the city.
2. Size of the apartment: Check the layout sees if it fulfills your criteria. Builders generally show a super built-up area in the brochures. This includes common areas such as a staircase, lobby, etc. The carpet area of the flat could actually be 30 percent less than the super built-up area. For example, a two-BHK 1,000 square feet flat could actually be just 700-750 square feet.
3. Resale Potential: You need to think about the property’s resale value. What if after a few days you decide to pack your bags to move somewhere else, at that time would it be appealing to someone else? If your answer is no then you need to reconsider your decision.
4 Amenities offered: Checking what kind of amenities the builder is offering you along with the property is a must. You might be a person whose requirements are limited but knowing about the amenities being offered might help you decide about the resale value of the property in the near future.
