Collonade, or passages with large openings have always been difficult to cover with conventional roll down blind systems with regards to limitation of fabric width and stability with regards to height and width of opening.

But we at Shade Plus Plus have made this possible by making a foldable Roman blind format with transparent and perforated fabric in desired pattern. This system is duly supported by side guides and wire guides for stability. This design allows us to cover large openings or passages, and can protect the building in monsoons from rain, in summers from heat and in winters from chilly winds.

Under standard conditions roller blinds drop down from top and motorised fabric tension system are used to cover skylights. but we at shadeplusplus in association with Hunter Douglas India have taken the best of these two products and created a completely new product according to the site and client's requirement. In this project we have used fabric tension system of skylight to cover the vertical facia with concept of roller blinds.. which was turned upside down.

So our new product is a combination of roller blind and skylight in which roller blind is moving from bottom to top. Since the roof is curvilinear, the movement from bottom allows the blind to move upward up to a height and to stop at different levels.
