Whether it was with pencil, ink, watercolours, wood burning tools, or his favourite; oil paints, he has been using his keen powers of observation to create art for over forty years. For the past twenty two years, he has been teaching art at Lower Canada College in Montreal. He has taught thousands of students, and his mastery of concepts such as shading, perspective and colour theory is evident in
his work. His unique brushstroke techniques and creative use of colour produce some incredible skies for which he is well known. However, although many of his paintings have an almost photographic quality to them, he also paints, at times, in a more impressionistic and even abstract manner. Whatever suits the subject best! His subjects vary from traditional landscapes and still life to golf courses, flowers, wildlife, and even the occasional narrative painting. He has participated in many individual and group exhibits, sells his work privately, and is always available for commissioned work.
