When innovation happens in the details, great design follows.
For this project, crafted office tabletops with cohera®myLeather | Interior, our leather fibre material. While Faust has long used our raw material within their construction components, here it takes centre stage as a topcoat-sealed surface - keeping its natural look & feel while standing up with its durability to everyday use.
The highlight: the same material is used for both the surface and the edge. Applied as an edge band through a specialized edge-banding process, cohera®myLeather gives the entire tabletop a continuous, monochrome material look - and a premium finish.
The result feels remarkably fluid and consistent - surface and edge coming together as one design element.
A great example of how material innovation opens up new possibilities for furniture and interior applications.

Nachhaltige Innovationen für die Mode- und Designindustrie
Auf der Lineapelle in Mailand präsentierte Salamander Premium Solutions seine neuesten Entwicklungen im Bereich nachhaltiger Lederfaserstoffe. Besonders im Fokus: Closed-Loop-Konzepte, die aus brandeigenem Verschnitt maßgeschneiderte Lösungen für Mode- und Schuhbrands schaffen. Die individuellen Kreislauflösungen begeisterten vor allem große Modebrands. Nachhaltigkeit ist längst mehr als ein Trend – sie ist ein klarer Wettbewerbsvorteil. Mit nachwachsenden Rohstoffen gestaltet Salamander Premium Solutions aktiv die nächste Generation nachhaltiger Lederfaserlösungen.
Mit den Produktlinien „cohera“ (individuelle Designlösungen) und „performa“ (hochwertige Komponenten für Markenschuhe) zeigte Salamander, wie recyceltes Leder zu Premium-Materialien mit exzellenter Optik, Haptik und CO₂-Reduktion wird.

We are pleased to announce that Lineapelle, our most important flagship fair, has seen a 55% growth in visitors in February 2023 compared to last February. 🎉
Lineapelle 101 welcomed over 24,000 visitors from 21 February - 23 February 2023. 🌏
Guests were informed about new innovations, new designs and new materials. We were also able to present our new flame retardant solution based on natural ingredients and the visually highly attractive surface design of cohera.
Under the motto "Make Tomorrow Bloom", we were finally able to meet many - especially international - customers again, cultivate connections and inspire new customers for us.
