Osaka Dojimahama Tower / Redevelopment of Dojima Park / Dojimahama Pier

大阪堂島浜タワー／堂島公園再整備／堂島浜船着場
ビジネスと交通の中心である御堂筋と、文化と行政の中心である堂島川が交差する象徴的な立地を活かした、ビジネス×観光×ローカル、行政×民間の交流促進をテーマにした大規模複合施設です。

This project is a reconstruction of the Osaka Mitsubishi Building, a symbol of the region (completed in 1969). Taking advantage of its iconic location where Midosuji, the hub of business and transportation, intersects with the Dojima River, the hub of culture and administration, this large-scale complex is themed around promoting exchanges between business, tourism, and local areas, and between government and the private sector. The lower floors will house offices, the upper floors will house a hotel, and the middle floors will house tourist facilities for public relations and corporate events. By combining these functions that extend into the local area, the entire building was intended to be "a theater-like space where you can experience the charm of Osaka from the front row." The adjacent Dojima Park and tourist boat dock will also be integrated, enhancing the symbolism of "Aqua City Osaka" and contributing to strengthening the area's disaster prevention capabilities through water infrastructure.

TOKYO TORCH Torch Tower

Torch Tower, a super-tall skyscraper standing approximately 385 meters tall, forms the core of "TOKYO TORCH," a large-scale redevelopment project unfolding in the Tokiwabashi district in front of Tokyo Station. Mitsubishi Jisho Design Sekkei as the core architect, this large-scale mixed-use building embodies the meaning of "illuminating Japan and the world." It integrates with Tokiwabashi Tower and Zenigamecho Building, also located within "TOKYO TORCH," as well as the adjacent Tokiwabashi Park, creating an open space that connects with the surrounding city blocks.

The lower floors will house large-scale commercial facilities and a hall with a capacity of 2,000 seats, connected by an "aerial promenade." Below, a large plaza with abundant water and greenery, "TOKYO TORCH Park," will spread out, welcoming diverse people. The aim is to connect regional areas with Tokyo, disseminate information from all over Japan, and create a place where diverse people can gather. With "TOKYO TORCH Park" at its core, "Torch Tower" and "Tokiwabashi Tower" will work together to create a unified space.

Located on the 53rd floor, "Sky Hill" is a hill in the sky, and at its seemingly floating summit, it will house luxury residences, the world-renowned Dorchester Collection hotel, and an observation deck. In particular, the introduction of residences is expected to promote work-life integration for urban dwellers and enhance the value of the Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho areas by incorporating residential functions.

FOSUN WOLICITY

上海復地活力城

This project involves a large-scale mixed-use commercial facility consisting of a 110,000 square meter commercial building with 200 stores, and two landmark office buildings.

It is in an area with high potential for the integrated development of residential, offices and commercial facilities within Shanghai's Pudong New Area.

The facility was designed to take advantage of the adjacent riverside setting. Movable square metal panels measuring 180mm across were installed on the continuous 300m wall facing the main road, creating a flow-like effect that sways like a river when it catches the breeze.

バリ島初の大規模ラグジュアリーアウトレットモールが誕生
Sira Village Grand Outlet Bali

On 31 July 2026, ‘Sira Village Grand Outlet Bali’, a large-scale luxury outlet mall, opened in ‘Kura Kura Bali’, a special economic zone on the island of Bali—one of the world’s leading holiday destinations. Jointly developed by Mitsubishi Estate and PT Bali Turtle Island Development, it is Bali’s first international-standard factory outlet, housing approximately 130 shops.

Mitsubishi Jisho Design, together with its Singapore-based subsidiary, Mitsubishi Jisho Design Asia, served as the design architect for this project. ‘Sira Village Grand Outlet Bali’ is Bali’s first large-scale luxury outlet mall and marks the Mitsubishi Estate Group’s second outlet mall development in Indonesia. Mitsubishi Jisho Design was also involved in the first project, ‘The Grand Outlet East Jakarta Karawang’, from the master plan through to landscape proposals and design supervision.

Based on the concept of ‘A Village for Diverse Communities’, the facility features a design inspired by traditional Balinese villages and the ‘Bale’ pavilion. By utilising locally sourced stone, brick and timber, and incorporating water features and natural airflow into the design, the project creates a comfortable space that harmonises with the tropical natural environment.

Furthermore, capitalising on its excellent location—approximately a 20-minute drive from Bali International Airport and close to Benoa Harbour—it is expected to become a new shopping resort welcoming both domestic and international tourists, as well as high-net-worth individuals. This marks the birth of a new landmark where visitors can experience not only shopping but also the unique scenery and culture of Bali.

2026年7月31日、世界有数のリゾート地・バリ島の経済特区「クラクラ・バリ」に、大規模ラグジュアリーアウトレットモール「Sira Village Grand Outlet Bali」が開業しました。三菱地所とPT Bali Turtle Island Developmentが共同開発した、約130店舗が集まるバリ島初の国際基準のファクトリーアウトレットです。

三菱地所設計は、シンガポール子会社のMitsubishi Jisho Design Asiaとともに、本プロジェクトのデザインアーキテクトを担当しました。「Sira Village Grand Outlet Bali」は、バリ島初の大規模ラグジュアリーアウトレットモールであり、三菱地所グループにとってインドネシアで手掛ける2件目のアウトレットモール開発となります。なお、第1弾となる「The Grand Outlet East Jakarta Karawang」でも、三菱地所設計は基本計画からランドスケープ提案、設計監修まで携わっています。

MUFG PARK / LIBRARY

銀行が保有し、行員専用の交流の場であった「武蔵野運動場」を、一般に開放する施設として整備したプロジェクト。�

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) owns a sports field for its employees and plans to open it to the public as MUFG PARK. The concept of the project is to preserve the site's natural characteristics and to create a space for community interaction.

■ Preserving and Utilising Nature
All trees were surveyed to ensure that nature is nurtured for the future. Buildings, park roads, and infrastructure were arranged to avoid damaging the trees and their roots. Rainwater is not discharged outside the site but seeps into the ground and is returned to the groundwater. The lawn area, surrounded by tall trees and symbolizing the PARK, is visually separated from the sports field. A library is placed between the lawn area and the sports field to create a natural space where people can experience the ‘Musashino Forest’. While the building is visible beyond the trees, the library's overhanging eaves create a view where only nature is visible from inside the building.

■ Creating a place for flexible interaction
The library features a gently curving layout along the main parkway, creating a space where a variety of people, including those from the playground and walkers, can easily drop by. The veranda facing the lawn offers a place for users to enjoy reading, conversation, eating, and drinking while watching children play and observing outdoor events. The library consists of and is managed by books donated by the local community, aiming to foster a space where conversations are sparked by books. To visualize the idea that ‘donated books = the accumulation of people’s thoughts and feelings,’ the books are concentrated on a 40-meter-wide wall bookshelf. The library holds a series of workshops with the local community prior to its opening to build relationships with them, and immediately afterward, users organize spontaneous events.

Miyako Hotel Hakata

都ホテル博多
JR博多駅筑紫口に面する、ホテルを主体とした複合施設。

This project is a mixed used facility primarily consisting of a hotel facing the Chikushi exit of JR Hakata Station opened in September 2019.

The hotel is designed to be memorable, providing guests with the opportunity to experience greenery and water while in the city center. The exterior concept of the hotel is centered around "Green, Water, and Light," and is characterized by a unique design in which the exterior is covered with lush greenery and a "waterfall" flows on the upper floors.

At night, the entire building is illuminated in a dynamic manner by 168 linear LED lights embedded in the exterior cladding.

オフィスワーカー、学生やクリエイターなど多様な人びとが行き交うポテンシャルを持ちながらも、幹線道路に囲まれ回遊性が失われていた青山通り沿いの計画地に、建物内外にまたがる歩行者のネットワークハブを新たに創出し、渋谷エリアと青山エリアを接続する再開発プロジェクトです。

The planned site along Aoyama-dori Street had the potential to attract a diverse range of people, including office workers, students, and creators, but was surrounded by major roads, making it difficult to get around. This redevelopment project will create a new pedestrian network hub that spans both inside and outside the building, connecting the Shibuya and Aoyama areas.

The "urban core" (vertical circulation that eliminates the valley topography of the area), which is the basic concept behind the redevelopment of Shibuya Station, has been developed, with an atrium in the center of the building equipped with stairs, escalators, and places to sit and relax throughout. Entrances to each direction and bridges connecting to the decks and footbridges around the site have been installed to draw in people, creating circulation that unfolds in six directions while eliminating differences in elevation. This has created a pedestrian network that seamlessly connects the area.

IT 企業が集積する中国・成都の天府新区、その都市軸である天府大道沿いのラストピースとなるオフィスパーク計画。

This office park project will be the final piece of the puzzle along Tianfu Boulevard, the city axis of the Tianfu New District in Chengdu, China, where IT companies are concentrated. By opening up offices, which tend to be closed off, to the local community, we aimed to harmonize with the surrounding environment, drive the region's future, and become a vibrant hub. The two new buildings, which are parallel to the existing low-rise building, have stepped heights, forming a skyline that follows the city axis. A bridge connects the old and new buildings from the sky lobby on the third floor, creating a three-dimensional network that allows direct access to the hall and visitor center. At the top of the building, we have created a 24m-high, four-story atrium for employee interaction. This glass box will become a symbol that shines a light on this developing region.

A New Proposal for High-Class Residential Complexes Focused on Community Engagement
地域との関わり方に目を向けた新たな建築の提案

A 22-unit luxury residential complex for affluent residents, situated in a quiet, green-rich area known since the late 1800s as a neighborhood of residences for Tokyo's political and financial elite. Rather than closing itself off solely for residents, it aims to preserve the area's unique landscape woven from greenery and stone walls, pursuing a form of housing that can become an asset for the community.
The boundary between public and private is defined by a single glass membrane reflecting the surrounding greenery. It overlays the green spaces inside and outside the site, controlling sightlines through variations in shade and distance. The expression of “abundance” within the living spaces is achieved by incorporating greenery through large, continuous openings that create a sense of openness.
