Project Dikkowita Four Civil Engineering master students are going to work on a project involving the fishing harbour in Dikkowita, Sri Lanka,

The fishery harbour of Dikkowita has been designed, built and financed by Dutch companies. But it turned out to be not profitable enough to cover the loan needed for the realization of this harbour. By conversing a part of the harbour into a marina, the tourism in the area around Dikkowita can be boosted. Also a solution needs to be found to increase the attractiveness of the harbour for the fishermen.
