📌Slab Concreting
Slab concreting is the process of placing, compacting, and curing structural concrete over slab reinforcement to form floor slabs and roof slabs. It’s what gives the building its flat load-bearing surfaces.

📌Scope of Work
📎Pre-pour Checks
Formwork alignment, prop spacing, steel placement, cover blocks, and electrical/plumbing conduits verified
📎Concrete Grade
Usually Grade 25 / Grade 30 as per structural design
📎Pouring
Concrete poured continuously in panels to avoid cold joints. Pour direction planned to minimize movement on fresh concrete
📎Compaction
Poker vi****or used to eliminate air pockets. Surface screeded with straight edge for level
📎Finishing
Surface floated and troweled. Power trowel finish for internal floors, wood float for areas to receive tiles
📎Curing
Kept wet for minimum 7 days using ponding or wet hessian. Prevents shrinkage cracks and gains full strength
📎De-shuttering
Side forms after 24-48 hrs. Props removed after 14-21 days depending on span, per engineer instruction
