Prior to the 2024 Presidential Election, I participated in a training program conducted by the Genuth organization to provide voter education in the Gampaha District. After being trained and certified through that program, I voluntarily contributed as a resource person for this initiative.

During the days when Sarvodaya Shramadana Societies were active in the Gampaha District, I visited those societies in the Gampaha area, delivered lectures, and conducted awareness sessions.

This village is special to me. As far as I know, there are 86 Grama Niladhari divisions within the Pannala Divisional Secretariat in the Kurunegala District.

One day, while I was serving as the Kurunegala District Director of the YAN organization, I conducted a drug prevention awareness program at the Pannala Divisional Secretariat office.

Out of all of them, only the Grama Niladhari of Pahalalabbala, Paniverewala village paid serious attention to it. She formally requested a structured action plan to save the youth in her village from drug abuse.

Following that, I connected the ADIC institute with the village and established a strong elders' organization there.

As the second step of this initiative, we gathered even more members than before and developed an active action plan during this event.

This village is special to me. To my knowledge, there are 86 Grama Niladhari divisions within the Pannala Divisional Secretariat in the Kurunegala District.

One day, while I was serving as the Kurunegala District Director of the YAN organization, I conducted an awareness program on drug prevention at the Pannala Divisional Secretariat office.
