Bed socks are a wonderful gift, especially for Valentine’s Day. They’re cozy to wear around the house and even comfortable to sleep in. I don’t mind if you take them for a walk outside in your boots, too. Hand-knitted from sock yarn with alpaca and wool in the blend. Light and not too thick, yet very warm. One of the bestsellers among my orders.

Why I chose to knit a lopapeysa

It all started with the yoke. I was completely charmed by the circular pattern — how it flows, how it tells a story without words.

I’ve always been fascinated by stranded knitting. There’s something magical about watching the colors come together, stitch by stitch, until a full motif appears like a quiet surprise.

There’s also a kind of mythical pull I feel toward Scandinavian designs — their calm beauty, their deep connection to nature, their quiet strength. I love the simplicity, the coziness, the practicality of life in the North.
