I don't trust people who believe there's nothing about themselves that they need to change. That makes zero sense to me. You can be a genuinely good person, but there are always behaviors and mentalities you need to actively unlearn, and there are always things about yourself that you need to work on. There is always room for growth and improvement as long as you are alive. Acknowledging this doesn't mean you have to be self-deprecating at all. Honest yet gentle constructive criticism about yourself is essential to maintaining healthy relationships and living your best life. It is how you hold yourself accountable for the harm you cause yourself and others.✍️

God hasn't forgotten your prayers. His heart sees how long you've been holding on and how much faith it's taken to keep believing when nothing seems to change.
He knows how deeply you've hoped and how much it has hurt to wait. But even when it seems quiet, He is moving putting things in place tenderly and intentionally, so that what you've prayed for arrives at the right time and in the right way.
You don't have to understand every detail or carry the pressure of making it happen yourself. Just keep trusting Him. Keep resting in His love.
Hold on, beautiful soul. God is still writing the parts of your story you can't see yet.

2. Dear God: Please bring peace to my confusion, joy to my sadness, and hope to my heart.

3. Dear God: If it's not for me, remove it. If they're not for me, reveal it. End anything in my life that's not for my life.

4. Lord, protect the path I'm on and don't let me quit for nothing.
