AFFA TOWN: THE TIME FOR A NEW DEVELOPMENT MINDSET IS NOW 🌍✨

The question we must ask ourselves is: What kind of future do we want for Affa?

For many years, Affa has faced challenges that cannot be ignored — lack of stable electricity, limited economic opportunities, a market system that needs improvement, few industries, and many youths struggling to find jobs or create sustainable businesses.

But development does not happen by waiting; it happens when people come together with vision, knowledge, unity, and willingness to embrace positive change.

Look at communities around us like Nike and Abakpa in Enugu. These areas have experienced growth because of planning, investment, business development, infrastructure, and people creating opportunities.

Affa also has great potential — our land, our people, our culture, and our youths are valuable resources. We must learn how to protect our heritage while also creating opportunities for future generations.

Our forefathers preserved the land because they wanted future generations to benefit from it. Preserving our heritage should also include finding wise ways to use our resources for development, creating businesses, housing, industries, and opportunities.

Our youths need skills, mentorship, ideas, and platforms where they can turn their dreams into reality.

This is why IHE OMA NDI AFFA FOUNDATION was created — to promote knowledge, digital skills, community conversations, and ideas that can contribute to the growth of Affa.

We invite every son and daughter of Affa, at home and abroad, to follow, support, share, and invite others to this movement.

Message to NDI Affa.

Dear NDI Affa,

I want to share something important with you all. Recently, my team and I have taken time to discuss and plan ways we can contribute positively to the growth and development of our community, especially by empowering our youths with valuable digital skills and practical training.

The world is changing, and digital knowledge has become one of the strongest tools for creating opportunities, building businesses, solving problems, and improving lives. Our vision is to help Affa youths discover their potential, learn useful skills, become productive, and create something meaningful that will contribute to the development of our community.

We believe that when youths are empowered with knowledge, confidence, and the right opportunities, they can become creators, innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders who will shape the future of Affa.

This is more than just learning digital skills; it is about building a mindset of growth, independence, creativity, and positive impact.
