Mother and Girl-Child Protection Initiative (MAGI) is a non-profit, non-religious, non-governmental organization, committed to protecting the mother and girl-child in Nigeria. It was established in 2012 and got registered with Corporate Affairs Commission same year. It is also registered with the Oyo State Ministry of Women Affairs, Community Development, Social Welfare and Poverty Alleviation as

an NGO poised towards promoting and protecting the rights of women and children. With a vision to be one of the best NGOs to protect, restore, rehabilitate and empower mothers and the girl-child all over Nigeria and a mission to give a future of freedom, dignity and emancipation, to women and the girl-child, who are less fortunate in our community through training, advocacy and empowerment.

On whether the England manager should be English: "We don't decide where we're born. Mum and Dad decide that and nine months later we're here. I didn't decide to be Catalan, you don't decide to be English. The federation decide for a foreign manager with a great record. My view is I would support him unconditionally. If he wins he will be praised and if he loses he will be criticised. But it doesn't matter his nationality."

"I know we are proud of where we are from, but the world is so big. You have to be open minded.

I came here to learn from you. It's happening all around the world where people believe they are better than the other one. It happens in Ukraine, in Russia, in Israel and parts of Africa, where people think they are better than the other one.

"I don't like that people criticise just because somebody is born in a different place."

1. Promoting and protecting the rights of the child as it affects girls by Barr. (Mrs) Ajayi Folakemi (Chairperson, Federation of Women Lawyers)
2. Sexual Abuse and Child Marriage by Alhaja Sura Oyero ( School Principal, rtd);
3. Child Abuse and neglect: Role of Parents, Teachers and the Media by Barr. (Mrs) Adegbola (Director Vale College) and
4. Health Dangers Inherent in the Neglect or Abuse of the Girl-Child by Dr. Temitope Fasuyi ( A microbiologist in UCH).
