Individuals may have disabilities, yet they possess a remarkable power that exceeds that of those without disabilities, though it often goes unnoticed. The Art-to-Income Initiative aims to bring these hidden talents to the forefront, showcasing abilities that transcend conventional perceptions. This initiative advocates for the belief that no one is truly disabled.

‎This is a deeply compassionate and creative initiative by David Sunday Dutsemi. We aren't just offering "charity"; we are offering humanity, dignity, and a platform for expression.

‎ The idea is to use art to bridge:
‎>Connections between the world and People Living with Disabilities (PLWDs)
‎>Between begging for survival and earning through skills.

They aren’t "invisible." They are masterpieces waiting to be seen. 🎨✨

‎In our society, people living with disabilities and vulnerable children are often treated as "sub-human." They are segregated, ignored, and left to beg just to survive.

‎I’m launching The Human Canvas: Vision Beyond Disabilitybecause I believe no one is "less than." I believe that behind every struggle is a soul with a story—and a hand that can create.

‎Every Saturday, from 10 AM to 2 PM, I’m meeting people leaving with disabilities [PLWDs] with a mission:

‎people living with disability in nigeria

‎An estimated 25 to over 40 million people live with disabilities in Nigeria, facing significant barriers to education, healthcare, and employment despite the Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities (Prohibition) Act of 2018. While the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) works to enforce rights and inclusion, systemic barriers, stigma, and poor infrastructure remain, with less than 2% of disabled Nigerians employed in the formal sector.

‎Key Aspects of Disability in Nigeria:
‎Legal Framework: The 2018 Disability Act prohibits discrimination, mandates a 5% employment quota for persons with disabilities (PWDs) in public organizations, and establishes the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities.

‎Prevalence & Demographics: Estimates vary from under 3 million to over 40 million, with a 2018 survey indicating that 7% of household members over age 5 face some form of functional difficulty.
‎Major Challenges:

‎Employment & Education: Less than 2% of PWDs have access to education, and employment rates in the formal sector are equally low.

‎Accessibility: Public infrastructure, transportation, and buildings often lack reasonable accommodation, hindering mobility.

‎Healthcare Access: PWDs struggle with specialized care and often face discrimination in healthcare settings.

‎Stigma & Beliefs: PWDs often encounter discrimination rooted in social, cultural, and religious superstitions.

‎Key Organizations:
‎National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD): The official federal agency responsible for policy, protection, and promotion of PWD rights.

‎Joint National Association of Persons with Disability (JONAPWD): An umbrella organization representing various disability groups.

‎Inclusive Friends Association (IFA): Advocates for inclusion in politics and daily life. (NCPWD).

Disability should not be perceived as a liability; rather, it should be recognized as a unique aspect of human diversity that can contribute to richness in our society. Individuals with disabilities often possess remarkable strengths and perspectives that challenge conventional views and promote inclusivity. By fostering an environment that embraces these differences, we can cultivate a more compassionate and innovative community where everyone has an opportunity to thrive, highlighting the importance of understanding and acceptance in overcoming barriers and stereotypes that perpetuate the notion of disability as a limitation.

This was why I came up with the Art-to-income Initiative for people leaving with disabilities [PLWDs], young girls and children world wide. for a start we are concentrating in Adamawa State, then eventually move in to the world one step at time, pending on your support.

working on a new pencil drawing in respect to people leaving with disabilities PLWDs.

Dear friends, what we are experiencing now is not an ordinary hot weather. It is the arrival of the danger of ‘El Niño’, which can silently take lives and separate our loved ones from us. This situation will become more serious as May approaches.
😱 What is ‘El Niño’?
Simply put, the water in the Pacific Ocean becomes very warm. This changes the air flow around the world. The southwest monsoon, which is supposed to bring us rain in May, may be late or less this time. This means that when it should rain, there will only be intense heat.
🏠🔥 This situation is very dangerous.
Even healthy people can die due to Heat Stroke. Therefore, to save our lives, we must do the following immediately:
💧 Don’t wait until you feel thirsty – that is dangerous!
Thirst is a sign that the body is already dehydrated. You should drink water every hour. Make sure children and the elderly drink water. Always keep a water bottle nearby.
☀️🚫 The most dangerous time is from 11 am to 3 pm
At this time, the sun hits the body directly.
Stay indoors as much as possible
Think carefully if there are school sports events
Your child's life is more valuable than any medal
👕 Avoid black clothes
They absorb heat more. Wear light-colored cotton clothes like white or pink.
⚠️ Heat Stroke Symptoms:
Severe headache
Fainting
Vomiting
Dry skin without sweating
If you have these symptoms, immediately take them to a shady place, wipe the body with a damp cloth and take them to the hospital immediately.
🐾 Don't forget the animals
Help not only the dogs and cats in your house, but also the animals on the street.
Keep water in front of the house or near the wall
Make sure there is shade
🚰📢 Finally…
Don't stay silent after reading this information. Share it with your family and friends. We all need to be prepared to deal with the upcoming 'El Niño' condition.
Remember…
We can only escape this danger if we are safe.
Share this information to save another life. 🙏

Please care and share. 👍

‎They Aren’t "Invisible." They Are Masterpieces Waiting To Be Seen.

‎🤝 Connection: Not just a handout, but a handshake. We sit together, talk, play games, and share a meal.
‎🖌️ Co-Creation: I bring the art supplies. I ask them what they want to see, and we draw it together. They aren't "beggars"—they are artists.
‎💰 Empowerment: When we sell the art we create,100% of the profit goes to them. It’s about building confidence and a way to earn with dignity.
‎✨ The Surprise: Sometimes, I’ll be showing up with a "simple wish" to grant, because everyone deserves a reason to smile.

‎I’m looking for "Helpers" to join this movement.

‎How you can support:
‎1.SHARE this post to help make the invisible, visible.
‎2.FOLLOW this page to see the faces and the art we create every Saturday.
‎3.SUPPORT by buying a portrait or donating art supplies (pencils, paper, paints).

‎Let’s change the way we look at our neighbors. Let’s have a Vision Beyond Disability.

"Love Is Sweet, But When Money Enter Love It's Sweater "

Yes, that is true!
But the wise ones are being futuristic when it comes to the involvement of money in a love relationship.

Futuristic, in the sense that, they try to see WHAT the next minute, hours, days, months, 1 years or more with their partners looks like and decide either to stay or not.

Being futuristic first of all has to Start from observing the current situation, mindset and the amount of effort that the person is putting to make meaning out of his life.

But as man, when you see a beautiful woman, the one that has all it take to be your woman and she is business oriented Mary Her, don't wait to be calculative with that one, [she's an asset this modern world].

As women, when you see a young and hard working man, the type you've dreaming of, but has no money support him financially and Marry him( pay his price and marry him).
