As far as I'm concerned, the main reason why Whizkid said what he said about being greater than Fela was just to pepper Seun cos I'm very sure in his heart of hearts, he knows he doesn't come close but he can keep trying (and I think in later years he might but for now, we give honour to whom honour is due)
And as far as I know, Seun talks too much and says things that are absolutely unnecessary. You can do activism without being so uninformed. Don't get me wrong now, I love Whiz and was among the first to listen and propagate his gospel but I'm not his biggest fan for now cos I think he's dropped his standard over the years. I've also always listened to Seun's music not because he can sing but just based on his dad. (That's not to say he doesn't have some nice jams o)
But las las Seun does not sing half as Femi does talk more of Fela. Made kuti is miles ahead of him so I don't really rate him that much but he tries. So my thoughts is that both of them should rest cos even if Whiz was provoked, he shouldn't open his mouth abi na app to say he's better than the Abami Eda. And Seun too should respect himself. I rest my case.
