“ In 2010, we discovered and purchased an original bach in Takamatua as a retreat from city life and a place to enjoy time with family and grandchildren. While charming and easy-care, the home was dated and limited in space.
In 2020, we chose to rebuild, creating a home that blends seamlessly with its surroundings while embracing the ever-changing views. Our talented team of architect, interior designer, builder, and craftsmen brought the vision to life, while landscape designer Ben McMaster transformed the garden into a peaceful haven that perfectly complements the setting.”

The thing about our self drive tour, is that the “in between” bits are JUST as pretty. Banks Peninsula roads weave you over ridges with ridiculous views, threading you between rural farmland, pockets of native bush and scraping your hand in a bay before offering you yet another beautiful change of environment. And our light … its just different ✨

Distances between our properties are relatively short, so find time to stop and picnic at a jetty or take pics with your garden gang.
