Based in Cromwell – Travel across Otago & Southland
Entry-level | Full-time | Immediate start
$27–$35/hr (depending on experience)

Looking for a hands-on job with great growth opportunities? Speight Drilling is on the lookout for a motivated Driller Assistant to join our team! You'll be working outdoors, learning from experienced drillers, and gaining skills in a solid industry.

Key responsibilities and requirements:

• Assist in operating and maintaining drilling rigs
• Hiab, crane license or experience.
• Handle tools, rods, samples, and site prep
• Load and unload equipment
• Heavy lifting
• Follow all safety procedures and instructions
• Keep the worksite clean and organized

- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Physically fit and keen to work
- Great attitude & willingness to learn
(WTR & Class 2 are a bonus)
