Āhiāhi mārie Comunity whānau,
I wanted to share one of the regular ECE approved excursions we attend in our bubble sized ECE setting.
We attend Elim Kids Music on a Tuesday morning from 10-11.30 am during the term.
Apart from this being a fun learning environment for our tamariki, from an ECE approved lens these are the experiences this activity provides our tamariki.
• Opportunities for positive reciprocal relationships with the leaders/adults, other whānau and tuakana/teina friendships.
•Opportunities to be a part of and contribute to Communtiy building experiences. Tamariki are encourage to participate in the programme and to support cleaning up at the end.
• Physical and cognitive growth and development are promoted during music and at free play time.
•Introduction to music and movement which are intricate insertions for wellbeing, cognitive and physical development.
•Inclusity of diversity of disabilities and cultures.
•Experiences for supporting and developing positive Emotional and Social confidence and competence.
•Connection with people of our local community through sharing a meal together.
•Adherence with Safety and Health regulations
As an ECE educator having these opportunities are valuable experiences in an enriched positive environment that I highly recommend. 🤩🥰
