Eastern Hobbies Workshop
Eastern Hobbies Workshop , an informal programme for radio controlled car enthusiasts of all ages, Eastern Hobbies Workshop meets every four weeks at Rāwhiti Domain, offering anyone an affordable and fun opportunity to hire and have a go with a radio controlled car. With plans to create a full track on the Domain, We are looking to develop a wide range of model and hobby activities. Eastern Hobbies Workshop is a non-profit group, we started out with the help of Rawhiti Community Sports Inc. Our main purpose is to create a family friendly environment where for a small cost of $2 (to help cover repair costs) you can have a go with one of the Clubs radio controlled cars. We have cars suitable for children 5 yrs and up, You can also bring along your own electric radio controlled car and join in with the fun. If you do bring your own car along please be mindful of the children using the Clubs Radio Controlled Cars. We only run 1/12 or 1/10 scale electric radio controlled cars. We meet every forth Sunday from 1pm until 4pm. We are always looking for volunteers to help us out on Club Days so if you would like to help please don’t hesitate to contact us for more information.
