IPMS Dunedin Off Street Parking and lift access are available.

The Dunedin Branch of the International Plastic Modellers Society Inc formed in October 1986 to promote and encourage the hobby of plastic model construction in the region through:

• regular meetings
• associating with fellow modellers in the region and around the country
• displays
• and competitions

The club NOW meets every Thursday evening on the Second Floor of the
Catholic Pastoral

Dunedin. The meeting on the last Thursday of each calendar month is dedicated to club business matters and the other meetings are workshop evenings where members work on their projects and are available to share ideas and assist with problems club members may be having.

🏆 2026 SOUTHERN CLUBS CHAMPIONSHIP – SAVE THE DATE! 🏆

📣 Modellers of the South – it’s time to get organised!

IPMS Dunedin is excited to announce that we will be hosting the 2026 Southern Clubs Championship on:

📅 Sunday 29 November 2026
📍 Caversham Harriers Clubrooms
201 Middleton Road, Dunedin
🕥 10:30am – 3:30pm

It’s shaping up to be a fantastic day of modelling, competition, friendship and good old-fashioned club camaraderie, with clubs from around the South coming together to battle it out for Southern Clubs Championship honours! 🏆

Whether you’re competing, supporting your club, or simply coming along to enjoy the day, we’d love to see you there.

🍽️ LIGHT LUNCH PROVIDED
A light lunch will be provided for attendees. Please RSVP to assist us with catering numbers.

🛒 BUY, SELL OR EXCHANGE TABLE
We’ll also be running our popular Buy, Sell or Exchange Table. Bring along those kits, books, decals, tools and modelling treasures that are looking for a new home — and you never know what bargains you might find!

Mark the calendar, dust off those models and get ready for a great Southern modelling get-together!

📣 HEADS-UP – 2026 SOUTHERN INTERCLUB COMPETITION 🏆

Dunedin will be hosting the 2026 Southern Interclub Competition!

We are currently working with the building owners to confirm venue availability and will provide full details as soon as everything is confirmed.

📅 Dates currently being considered:

• Sunday 29 November
• Sunday 6 December

So, mark both dates in your calendar for now and keep an eye on the club page for further updates.

As usual, the competition will also feature our popular Buy, Sell or Exchange Table – a great opportunity to find some new treasures, move along some surplus items, or simply have a browse.

More information, including the confirmed date, venue and competition details, will be announced as soon as they are available.
