Definitely getting the reps in on this job. Building a 4 run dog enclosure with deer netting. My method is to tie a termination knot for every wire in the netting roll at each end and crimp it all together.

If it weren’t for your gumboots, where would ya be? 🎶

In my case… still stuck in the paddock, apparently. 😂

Good thing Daniel and the tractor were on hand for the rescue 🚜

Struggling to Reach an Overgrown Drain?

Our long-reach excavator is built for the areas standard machinery can’t easily access.

Blocked, overgrown or poorly maintained drains can cause water pooling, erosion and ongoing problems across rural properties.

The extended boom on our long-reach excavator allows us to work across banks, drains and difficult-access areas without needing to position the machine directly beside the work zone.

It is ideal for:

✔ Drain clearing and maintenance
✔ Waterway excavation
✔ Sediment removal
✔ Bank and slope work
✔ Environmental projects

Need a practical solution for a hard-to-reach area? Let’s take a look at the site and recommend the best approach.

The mad Mac!
The latest of my mad scientist ideas, I had an old McCullough PM 700 that I thought,
I wonder if I could mount this to a mate gear box?
With a lot of help and expertise from Pederson engineering it’s now a thing!

And no, it does not suit rocky ground. Sometimes you just need a spade and a crowbar.

Sub-Contractor Wanted – Rural Fencing

DW Fencing & Rural Services is on the lookout for a reliable fencing sub-contractor to join our team.

You must be self-employed and have your own vehicle, but you don’t need your own tools — we provide good-quality gear and equipment.

We’re after someone who:
- Takes genuine pride in their workmanship
- Understands that quality comes first — no shortcuts
- Is reliable, motivated, and easy to work with
- Treats every job like their reputation is on the line (because ours is)

Our work is our brand, and we’re known for doing things properly. If you enjoy producing fences you’re proud to put your name to, you’ll fit in well here.

It’s official! We have a website!

Only taken us 5 years 😅

Head on over to https://www.dwfencing.co.nz

Daniel started DW Fencing & Rural services with his partner Troye in 2020 when they returned to the Manawatu after spending 7 years on the east coast of the North Island. They settled in Feilding, and have been growing their business since.

A week ago, I started this line but had a bit of a setback… really thankful for everyone who offered to help me with my current workload at the moment!

Big shoutout to Wilton weeks from WW Fencing for giving me a hand today.
