80 year-old Warren Johnson “The Professor” worked on Thanksgiving day at his shop. But don’t worry, WJ only worked 12 hours. He’s still going strong at age 80!

In this photo he is preparing the mill for another set of his hand built cylinder heads for design changes.

The heads will be installed on one of his Pro Stock engines to produce even more power.

In support of the wāhine (women) in our lives, I (Megan) am organising a Pink Ribbon morning tea to fundraise for breast cancer. While this isn’t an invitation to morning tea (sorry!), it is an invitation for anyone to donate and show their support if they have the means to do so. We all have wonderful women in our lives; Mums, Aunties, sisters, daughters, friends.. and with over 3300 women being diagnosed with breast cancer in Aotearoa every year, it’s likely to effect you or someone you know in some way.
Any support will be greatly appreciated and 100% of the funds I raise through my Pink Page (https://pinkribbonbreakfast.co.nz/page/meggyspinkpage) will be going straight to the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.

Kia ora. The boys at Wayne Aldridge Contracting are still looking for two motivated, hard-working concrete workers to join the team. Must have some experience, confidently be able to box, place and finish. Drivers licence would be handy, class 2 would be an advantage. Full-time work Mon-Fri with the occasional Saturday morning. We're hoping for an immediate start. C.V and references would be helpful.
