Our workshops on wheels are sure coming in handy on this job .

No power available on site no problem ,we carry our own.
Manufacturing wall bracing and pump rails is alot easier and quicker on-site, and we even managed to keep our feet dry today

A bit of a big one today !
4 wall slabs and a floor panel installed in Opotiki against a very unstable bank ,supplied once again by Whakatane Precast Ltd (who also put us in contact with the client)
Tomorrow's job is installing 4 steel braces , moving the existing pump forward and installing a new pump for heavier loading.
Once again the panels slotted together easy once a bit of underwater digging was done , Jacob and I spent most of the day waist deep in water .

We love these jobs, design, planning and ex*****on is what we do .

The last bash at storm cleanup, awsome job today from Jason's Trees ,taking out a couple of leaning trees over a boundary fence ,saving us the job of pulling the fence down.
Bit of a burn up and this site is done.
Also finished a fence rebuild in Whakatane with a little bit of plumbing to add to it .
Also we have started a cowshed drainage project with new rails to go in , an effluent solid bunker screen and also unblocked a household septic tank
Tomorrow we start the ground work on a new flood pump setup in Opotiki.
Loving the variety of jobs at the moment

Another awesome week for us this week,

A fence repair on peace street Whakatane after the recent cyclone. New posts and rail and reattached the iron.

We also finished a revamp on a dairy effluent bladder near Opotiki, unfortunately the company that installed it originally,( pleased to say not a local one) did what is the worst installation jobs we have seen so far ,failing to attach taps tightly which could have resulted in a major spill but has unfortunately damaged the bladder which we are addressing for our client at the moment.

We also have started another medium sized welding job today .

Sometimes things go wrong after hours, we are only a phone call away .
Saturday evening callout to a cow stuck in a drain ,poor old girl was absolutely exhausted and no one on farm to lift her out .

A follow up visit on a recent Numedic Ltd pondstir installation just to check everything is performing as it should.
The stirrering action is evident over the whole pond ,creating suspension of particulates enabling the pump to remove them ,stopping buildup in the pond .
With a lower power requirement and no driveshafts they are the go to for pond stirring

We were wrapped to be able to jump in and help repair the damage to this newly constructed platform built for the less mobile in our community to enjoy the awsome space in the middle of town. The team at HALO Whakatane are working hard to create something special .

Massive transformation on this site ,
A Dairy effluent bladder installed just over a year ago was over grown with Bracken and wild trees ,a real mess !!
The farmer contacted us to clear the site and lay some w**d mat he had purchased .
We were a little shocked with the lack of finishing on this site , taps exposed in a deep hole and lay flat hose used through a fence and over the bund ,totally over-grown with multiple kinks and unable to fully allow flow .
We trenched pipe through the bund ,built a tap box and will be replacing the intake pipe with something more robust , as it should have been from installation.

We love seeing results like this ,while looking at a flood pump /drainage job in Opotiki our client asked us to look at his bladder ,installed 18 months ago .
What a mess !!!
Wilding trees and Bracken all over the place and an inlet line that was an absolute disgrace, lay flat hose through netting and buried in w**ds so it struggled to deliver anything.
Scrub has been removed and w**d mat installed, and we are extending the inlet hydrant inside the bund and replacing the lay flat hose with rubber .

Our client is happy to see the mess gone and a potential leak sorted . Shame it wasn't done in installation but we are happy to step in and sort it .

We now have the task of maintaining this system and will be doing regular checks on it
