What a way to wrap up the week! 🙌

We’ve officially broken ground and kicked off excavation at our new workshop site 📍 147 Glastonbury Ave, Hamilton.

This is a massive milestone for Bomax Construction—one that we’re incredibly proud of. It’s exciting, a little surreal, and a real reminder of how far we’ve come as a business.

Thanks to Vision Complete Earthworks for getting the excavation underway—appreciate the work getting us to this stage.

We’re so grateful for the support behind us—our team, our clients, our families, and the many great businesses we work alongside. We wouldn’t be here without you.

Here’s to the next stage… we can’t wait to bring this vision to life 🚧

Great progress at Karaka Pines Retirement Village for Downey Designer Homes 🙌

This is a big one – a 666m² foundation that will form 6 units 🏡🏡🏡🏡🏡🏡

TC2 foundation ✅ and the crew absolutely smashed it 💪🔥

Now we’re crossing our fingers for some good weather ahead of the pour on Tuesday ☀️🚧

It’s been a couple of quiet weeks on here… not for us though! 😅

Between a full-on workload and some very “Waikato” weather, we’ve been flat out behind the scenes getting jobs done ✅

Yesterday we completed this 335.94m² foundation for Sentinel Homes at Huirimu Road, Te Awamutu 👏

This one was a cool build with a really interesting floor layout — lots of angles keeping the team on their toes!

Last week our crew smashed out 8 units across two foundations at Karewa Place, Hamilton for Pragma Homes 👷‍♂️💥
(Units 36–43 & 46–52 all getting poured!)

We struck an absolute beauty of a day for pouring – couldn’t have asked for better conditions 🙌☀️

And how good does that Empire Pump look in action 👀🔥

🧡 A huge Bomax thank you to a very special lady 🧡

We want to give a massive shout‑out to my mum, Brenda Stamp, who has been quietly working away behind the scenes making these awesome safety cap bags for the Bomax crew.

The boys usually just use whatever they can find on site to bundle their safety caps up and bring them back, but Mum had a better idea. She’s made these custom marine vinyl bags, complete with holes in the bottom so the water and sand can drain out properly – practical, tough, and built for site life.

They’re already getting plenty of use, with Tiwha Falwasser from Falmax Concrete Ltd modelling one for us here 👷‍♂️👏

Thanks Mum – the guys absolutely love them, and we really appreciate the time, effort, and care you’ve put into helping look after the crew 🧡🧡

What a way to wrap up the week! 👏

Today we poured the foundation at Lot 18, Sunridge Park Road, RD5 Morrinsville for Downey Designer Homes.

At 259.20m², this one is going to be a stunning home and we’re proud to be part of bringing it to life.

We’ve been spoilt with beautiful weather this week — long may it continue ☀️

A look from above at Matamata Country Club living 👀🏡

This drone footage really shows the progress out there — every foundation you see has been built and poured by our team. It’s always satisfying to see these developments come together.

Huge thanks to Falmax Concrete Ltd, Dig It Earthworks & Concrete, and Empire Concrete Pumps for their solid work and support throughout.

We’re also currently working on the bridge crossing, which is an exciting part of the project.

It’s a seriously beautiful spot to be working in 🌿
