Hi Everyone. As part of a community fundraiser for Whalan Lodge and Waitaki Valley School, local farmers are generously donating calves to be reared and sold, with all proceeds going towards supporting the lodge and school.

If anyone is keen to sponsor a calf, or milk powder please get in touch with Sam Laugesen.

This weekend, I’ll be donating my time to build the fencing for the calves. To help make this happen, we’re looking for donations of any fencing materials before the weekend so I can drive the posts.

If you have any spare posts, warratahs, netting, or other fencing materials you could donate, it would be hugely appreciated.

New fence pro ultra g2s with 180 rotating base made this hard rocky job a lot easier. Bit over 2kms of deer fencing to keep the wild deer off the crop. Get in touch for those tricky jobs.
