The Downs Group the Downs Group comprises of four companies. Our Head office is based in Marton, New Zealand. The Downs Group covers seven companies.

We carry out electrical contracting, appliance sales, street lighting, low voltage power, scada and PLC systems, water treatment specialists and mechanical services. This page is to show some of the community projects we are involved in.

Today we are celebrating three long service awards. The presentations were made by Senior Manager Ash Williamson with Managing Director Robert Gunn in a room full of members of staff assembled to witness the awards. Incredibly hard working and loyal staff members who add a lot to our company on a daily basis.

SPRING & CO REALTY LIGHT UP RANGITĪKEI 2026

This Christmas, we are creating a Christmas Lights Trail to give families another reason to visit, explore and enjoy the Rangitīkei.

From Marton to Bulls, Hunterville and everywhere in between, we are inviting homes, rural properties, neighbourhoods and local businesses to help light up our district.

Your display does not need to be enormous. A decorated gate, festive shop window or a few strings of lights can all add to the magic.
