Here we have a MASSIVE Macrocarpa which previously had a twin leader that fell across the road during a storm and destroyed some power lines and a fence on the opposite side of the road. The remaining twin was left leaning heavily towards several homes and unfortunately had to be removed for safety reasons. I was lucky enough for Treecraft Arboriculture to let me tame this beast as its not often arborists get to climb such massive trees.

Some of, if not, my absolute favorite rope access jobs to date have been working to protect New Zealand wildlife across Tāmaki Makaurau. These particular shots are from an invasive plant eradication job on Motukorea (Browns Island) in the Hauraki Gulf with Height Access Technology Limited Limited and Te Ngahere 2021 Ltd. The flora on the cliffs of this island is nearly completely native now.
