The Mahi and learnings I have done over many years in the disability sector has me well placed for my latest challenge.

I have been diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder, or FND. Feel free to look it up - the information you get from " Doctor Google" is very informative.

I am hopeful that I will make a full recovery, as the symptoms are very broad and are impacting on every part of my life.

In the meantime, it would be great to hear from anybody in the Wairarapa Community who has FND, and living with the symptoms associated with this disorder.

I am arranging for a Total Mobility Assessor to come to the Wairarapa and do assessments for people who are eligible and applying. Please let me know if you (or anyone you know is keen to be part of this. Date and location to be advised.

I'm back working in Wairarapa, providing employment services for youth who would struggle to get employment in their community, when they leave College. Post what you are doing on here, that could include the people I work with in employment or in their community.
