The Bluecod/Tarakihi cup has been postponed till next Sunday, 2nd March.

Hi Everyone

We are intending to hold both the Blue Cod Cup and Tarakihi Trophy this Sunday 23rd February 2025 given the favourable forecast with the postponement date being Sunday 2nd March 2025.

COMPETITION RULES

1. Each Competitor can weigh in only one Fish per species (Blue Cod, Tarakihi, Gurnard, Trumpeter, Groper, Jock Stewart, Crayfish, Elephant Fish)
2. All Fish weighed must be of legal size
3. All Fish must be weighed in by the designated finish time (2pm)
4. All competitors are to be at the prize giving held in the Clubrooms at the conclusions of the competition to receive a prize, no prizes will be held for non-attendance
5. The Judges decision is final
6. Entry fee $10 for Members and $15 for non-members to be paid before fishing
7. The Fishing Committee have the right to postpone or cancel the event. They can also shorten the days fishing. All competitors will be contacted via VHF Radio if the days' fishing is to be shortened. VHF Channel 68
8. Enjoy your days fishing, tight lines

Registrations open at the Clubrooms at 6.30am with no Boats allowed to leave the Harbour until 7am. All Competitors must have their catch landed and weighed in by 2pm (same day) - no exceptions.
