Bold marble graphics, with a strong sense of contrast.

TDM Revolution Calacatta Black brings depth and character to an interior through its expressive marble pattern, combining a dark base with striking veining.

Well suited to feature installations and contemporary spaces, our TDM Revolution collection offers both natural and lappato finishes, allowing the same design to take on a different feel depending on the surface selected.

Glazed porcelain, made in Italy and suitable for floors and walls, Calacatta Black offers a considered way to introduce drama and material contrast into a space.

Travertine inspired porcelain, with added depth through texture.

One of our most popular showroom displays, the Unique Travertine collection in our Silver colourway brings together Minimal Silver and Ruled Silver across the walls, floor, shower and vanity feature area.
The softer, stone-inspired movement of Minimal sits alongside the more defined texture of Ruled, creating contrast while keeping the overall palette cohesive. It’s a great example of how combining different surfaces within the same collection can add depth and interest to a space.

Inspired by the tactile beauty of natural travertine, Unique Travertine offers a contemporary interpretation of the stone, with varied designs, textures and finishes to work across floors and walls.

A tile sample can tell you a lot. But it can’t tell you everything.

Scale changes how a pattern reads. Natural light can completely shift an undertone. A finish that looks subtle in your hand can behave very differently across an entire floor, and the materials sitting alongside it will influence it again.

It’s why we encourage designers and clients to spend time with materials before making the final call. Put them together. Move them into the light. Look at larger pieces where you can. Compare finishes.

And if something isn’t quite working, bring the palette in. Sometimes a second set of eyes and a table full of samples is exactly what a project needs.

Natural variation isn’t a flaw. It’s part of specifying natural stone.

No two pieces will be exactly alike. Tone, veining, fossils, texture and naturally occurring markings can all vary, sometimes quite considerably, even within the same stone.

A small sample gives you an indication of the material, but it can’t represent every piece that will arrive on site. That’s why we encourage viewing a broader selection where possible and, importantly, blending the stone during installation rather than laying straight from one crate or pallet.

The goal isn’t uniformity. It’s understanding the variation you’re working with and using it well.

For more than 20 years, Quantum has worked alongside architects, designers, builders and homeowners across New Zealand, helping turn material ideas into considered specifications.

Sometimes that means finding exactly the right stone. Sometimes it’s working through formats, finishes, slip requirements or indoor/outdoor transitions. And sometimes it’s simply putting a few options on the table and talking through what will work.

Our collections are sourced from around the world, but the knowledge, support and relationships behind them are very much local. If you’re working on something new, come and see us. Bring the plans, the palette, the difficult detail or simply an idea. We’ll take it from there.

A new addition to our Aesthetica core range, Paonazzetto is now available in both natural and lappato finishes.

Warm gold veining, soft grey detail and occasional darker markings give Paonazzetto plenty of character, while the 600 x 1200mm format allows the pattern to open up across the surface.

The choice of finish changes the feel considerably. Natural has a softer, matt appearance with less reflection, allowing the colour and veining to sit more quietly within a space. Lappato is a lightly polished finish that introduces a subtle sheen, catching the light and giving the surface greater visual depth without the full reflectivity of a polished tile.

Same porcelain. Same pattern. Two quite different ways to work with it.

We recently shared this beautiful powder room when it took out the 2026 TIDA New Zealand Powder Room of the Year. Now take a closer look at the project in our latest case study.

Part of a Mangawhai beach house inspired by native New Zealand birds, this powder room references the tūī through a clever mix of colour, texture and material. Featuring our Nativa Vena Vein Cut Lapillo, Fusion Blue Gloss and Artisan Finger Thunder Mosaic, it’s a small space with plenty of personality.

A fantastic result for Turbine Residential at the 2026 Master Builders House of the Year Awards, taking home both Regional Category Winner and Regional Gold for this Taupō home in the Builder’s Own Home category.

Designed to make the most of its incredible setting above the lake, the home brings together generous spaces for family and friends with a warm, considered material palette inspired by the surrounding landscape.

In the ensuite and bathroom, our Unique Travertine Minimal White and Ruled White were chosen for their soft tones and subtle texture, complementing the warm timber and understated palette used throughout the beautiful home.

Congratulations to the team at Turbine Residential 2014 Ltd on a very well-deserved achievement.

Mystone Berici is a collection that gives designers plenty to work with.

Inspired by Vicenza stone, soft tonal variation, fine inclusions and subtle fossil details bring depth and natural character without making the surface feel busy. Available in neutral tones, with a range of formats, textures and natural and anti-slip finishes, the collection can move comfortably across floors and walls, inside and out.

Made in Italy in rectified glazed porcelain and now available at Quantum.

A new addition to a Quantum favourite.

Our best-selling Unique Travertine collection is now available in Ancient Opus Brecciata (silver and chocolate), a mixed-format combination of 200 x 200mm and 300 x 200mm tiles designed to give the floor a relaxed, timeworn feel. Softened edges, an aged surface and plenty of variation give it the character of old travertine, while porcelain makes it a very practical way to achieve the look.
