Pruning paste is something I don't use all that often, only on large cuts that would take awhile to heal naturally. I wouldn't go pasting every cut like I saw someone do on a rose bush the other day, but hey everyone has their way. I finished my last bottle and decided to try the organic option this time. Wow so glad I did! Now there's no big eyesore blue you can see from a mile away! I love an easy to use product that leaves a lovely finish! Must admit its a bit stinky but anything good for the garden usually is right! 🤭

🎂🌿 Wow! One whole year of Heart and Soil! 🌿🎂

My exciting, nerve-wracking, yet hopeful idea of Heart and Soil has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of. I’ve spent the past year getting my hands dirty, meeting some wonderful people, working in some beautiful gardens, and learning so much along the way.🤗

There have definitely been challenging days, long days and a few “what have I gotten myself into?” times. But there has also been alot of times that has made me think, “Yep, this is exactly what I want to be doing, how lucky am I !”✨

So. thank you to everyone that has supported me. I’m so grateful to every client who has trusted me with their gardens, every recomendation, every shared post, the feedback, the compliments or just simply well wishes given. It all means so much. ❤️

This is why I love having my regular clients! 🌿
This garden had its usual little tidy up, but guess what? There's now some hidden treasure in there! I planted some beautiful lily bulbs! Because I look after this garden regularly, I'll get to watch them grow, bloom, and become part of the garden over the coming months. How cool is that! 🌸

Keeping on top of weeding makes all the difference! It's much easier than letting it get away on you, and it turns into a massive task. A couple of hours a fortnight fits most of my clients ⏲️

Especially now it’s getting colder, it’s not always appealing to be out in the garden. But i dont mind one bit! Let me do the dirty workl so you dont have to! 💚

Just under 60m of hedge done woo hoo! 🤩

Hedges like this aren’t as simple as running a hedge trimmer down the line. With a mix of different plants growing at different speeds and in different ways, getting a clean, straight finish takes a bit of experience and eye for detail.🧐

The mix of colours through the hedge actually works really nicely too! It gives a bit more interest compared to having the same plant the whole way along. A very satisfying task 💚
