A painter came to us and asked if the was anything that could be done to improve the finished look of the stairwell. It had been skimmed by another plasterer and the painter was struggling to get the desired finish on it. They thought the best option might be to cover it with wallpaper.
We stepped up and and after a couple of layers of plaster we solved the issue and the client got the painted finish they were after.

STAFF WANTED

PlasteringPlus is currently looking for an experienced plasterer to our team.

Must have trade cert or at least 4yrs plastering experience.

Must be able to work alone and as part of a small team. Will need to be honest, self-motivated and be able to follow instruction.

Experience in the use of plaster boxes an advantage but training can be given.

Will need own hand tools, a clean driver license, a reliable vehicle to get to depot, and will need to be DRUG FREE.

An understanding of construction H & S practices also required.

Applicant should be located in or near Hawera or be willing to relocate to area.

Mark and Tim had a big day today putting up this massive cornice. Had to have it custom made, in Hamilton, from a sample supplied by the home owner. 330mm x 310mm coverage, it's the biggest cornice we have ever had to do but wow doesn't it make a statement.
