⏱️ 4 Days. 1 Toilet. No Room for Error! ⏱️

​What do you do when a client needs a total revamp on the only toilet in the house? You smash it out on a strict schedule to get them back home on time! 🏁

​To give us a completely clear run at it, our awesome client booked herself into an Airbnb for 4 days. With the clock ticking from day one, the pressure was on—but we made sure every single detail was spot on.
​No cutting corners, just efficient, quality work. 🔨✨

🔹 The Strip Out: We ripped out the old tiles and plasterboard to start fresh.

🔹 The Hidden Fix: Spotted some old insulation behind the walls that wasn't doing its job anymore, so we swapped it out to keep the space warm and dry.

🔹 Shed Treasure: Found a handy spare box of matching flooring tucked away in the shed and laid down a fresh new floor! 📦👇

🔹 The Finish: Lined the walls with fresh plasterboard and tiled with these gorgeous 75x300 blue bumpy gloss tiles, completely locked in with Mapei 112 Epoxy Grout. It’s bulletproof, stain-resistant, and built to last! 💎

They say tiling is 90% preparation... but they don’t usually mean rebuilding the whole wall! 🧱🔨

​When I first turned up to this job, the original wall was moving and built incorrectly. I couldn’t in good conscience tile over a failing structure—so we hit the brakes. 🛑

​Shoutout to Tom for coming in to rebuild the foundation and new wall properly as well as landscaping!

We took the opportunity to streamline the design from two corners down to the one clean 90° turn.

Finally got around to tiling it this week and what a result worth the wait! This stunning blue patchwork Porcelain tile finished with mapie 112 epoxy grout completely transforms the garden.

A bit of extra work at the start means this beauty isn’t going anywhere!
