Wonderful to see our echiums in full bloom and being enjoyed by the pollinators. They would probably be our first real performer of the spring summer season. Next up should be a spectacular display from our pandorea vine, fingers crossed

Spring is definitely in the air! You can really feel things starting to move now in the garden. We’ve been working hard all  autumn and winter in preparation and it’s wonderful to see some of the work being rewarded. Over 100 salvias and 90 hydrangeas have all been planted as well as loads of poppy, foxglove, stock, lambs ears, cosmos, sea holly, lupin and lavender seedlings. The Lilly and Dalia’s are in and manny of our typically annual sages survived the winter and are now sending up new growth. This will be our second spring with this garden and is already looking to be a real show stopper especially compared to the very very new garden that was this time last year.

We even managed a full pond service. Empty, full clean, new pipes and fittings. Fish are happy

Big thanks to Weber Gardening Services for giving us a hand over the week splitting up carex and planting along the log walk. Within a year we have gone from 10 plants to over 160 with the intention being to use the carex to complete with some of the w**d species
