Another fantastic year for the waimate garden and craft show.
We had a venue change and it looked astonishing all set out.
Had a super amount of entries and so many talented gardeners,bakers,photographers and crafty people.
It is always a joy seeing what gets entered each year and how well people do. 🏅🏆
The committee pulled off an amazing feat 👏

I'm sure we are all hoping for some sunshine☀️ this week to perk everything back up, I know my flowers are missing it.
Entries for the show are still open until Thursday (photography Wednesday) so if you have ever considered it now is the time, we have plenty of sections that aren't weather dependant and heaps for the kids to enter too. It is shaping up to be a good show this year, we look forward to seeing you all there and bring a friend they may discover a new passion.

The Timaru Dahlia Circle are holding a "Show and Tell" afternoon at Alistair and Joan Davies home 587 Timaru/Temuka Highway at 2pm next Saturday 24th January. Alistair is a large grower and seller of Dahlias.
Alistair will be showing how to stage dahlias and what we should be doing this time of year, there will be plenty of time for questions.
Jan Chambers will be showing the basics for cup and saucer flower design and basket flower design.
This will be ideal before the Waimate Garden and Craft Show the following weekend. If you want to exhibit further the Timaru Dalia Circle will have 3 shows during February & March while there will also be the Timaru Horticultural Show as well.

Please contact me if you wish any further details. There will be No Charge , you can park on the front lawn area, just bring a chair to sit on.
