Most of us will know or have known someone close to us who has fought the journey of Breast Cancer or are fighting it. Some of us may have even made that visit to the Breast Clinic for a biopsy but walked away with clean results. This sadly is not the case everyone.
Cancer has been no stranger to my family and more recently two of my family members were given the devastating diagnosis of Breast Cancer as well as a friend close to home.
I made a decision a long time ago to support Cancer fundraising any way I can, from Daffodil day, bucket fundraisers at local supermarkets, online donations, Canteen donations, I did the Walking stars night walk in Auckland in honour of my late cousin and now I want to help Pink Ribbon in their campaign for fundraising in Honour of the 3 women I know bravely fighting the fight!
I am hosting my first Pink Ribbon Sip & Support High Tea of Hope on 23rd May.
This will be a morning High Tea hosted the Thursday morning. It would be great if anyone around would like to attend. I will post an invite and be sending out to everyone shortly.
I am also wanting to raise funds over and above this so if you would like to donate please click on my page and it will take you through.
Please join me in giving support for all who are walking positive but tired, strong yet weak and giving it all they have to win the battle to be a SURVIVOR!
I'm fundraising for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, to help fund breast cancer education, research and patient support. Please donate to help the 3,500 Kiwis diagnosed with breast cancer each year in NZ.
